@Izhar.
All are doing gr8. Many of the imported ones were infact improved varieties of the species we already have as garden plants, and i have been sharing some such as Nasturtiums, Dimors, Shizianthus, calendulas, arctotis, linum etc. Others which are comparatively novel are in growing phase. Spring is still one month away here, temperatures are still around 5 C at night, blooms with me are early because of early starting and protection. Hopefully i will be able to update all in near future.
I have observed all imported species to be late bloomers and slightly more heat hardy (which is unusual as we think that seeds from UK should behave otherwise), for instance sweetpeas which are imported, always bloom late as i observed last year also.
It is pertinent to note that i have not observed not even a single imported species not growing well and not flowering, its only the germination which is tricky, and most of the time its my own fault or circumstance.
@Rafique Bhai............
This being said that novels bring joy, every new bloom is cherished in same way whether its a common wild flower or an exotic one. I still can't resist growing even the most mundane species. I have not standards, that i would only sought exotics, i take joy in most ordinary. Maybe this is the essence of landscaping. Neither i can afford every single plant in my garden to be an exotic nor this is how a landscape is, its ordinary yet grand only by the magnitude of its scheme.
I don't have standards so as a flower should be big enough, showy enough etc etc.

. I don't judge plants, maybe yes in future i might note be able to grow everything that i am at the moment but not because i disliked it. All are as dear as another.
Another point highlighted time and again is that beginners try to grow every new plant, i think it should be like that for we can not De-list something before trying. However 5 years down the line if i come into my garden and there are only petunias and snaps every where i will stop gardening that very day

, for its means i have stopped gardening as a culture. the quest, the urge to grow. I dislike color schemes and absolute symmetry. For me its mix and match. If its in my control every plant next to other should have a different color. "Berabtagee main bhi eik rabt hai".
We should be able to appreciate things not only when they are at their glory, but low and down. A perfect example

Beauty lies in how you perceive things
I still remember someone said helichrysum should be proud of your photography....and i ought Camera only captures what eye sees.
Small things bring larger joy, its just that one needs to bend down and fathom.
Light defines dark
Disparity is the beauty of life

Rainbow has seven colors.....without even one, the world would not have been as glorious as it is.
