Felicia. It has a shining silvery center. This plant is struggling due to closer planting with other plants, ones planted separately should be more floriferous

Linaria, it was sheared off post rains ten days back and its coming back to bloom. It is not only important to make a plant bloom but keep it going for longer and making better use of it.

Linum Charmer is such a beauty :)

I am surprised that Irish poet plant is still standing strong after all the bashing by the rains :)

Have you tried the pink Baby's Breath...it is even more beautiful than its white cousin. i plan to add it in the next group purchase :D

If i remember right, bought three colours of Anemones including white, pink and blue. I don't know how many tubers were successful with you.

Thankyou Umar Bhai, Rafique and Mustansir.

@Ahmed Irfan. I don't see any reason why they shouldn't perform in Lahore. Only thing i have observed regarding them is that they can't not withstand water logging. Those in pots suffered due to heavy rains, some rotted.

@Tahir Khan..Definitely will try pink Gypsophalia next season.
Linum can be appreciated only once grown. They continue to get better & better, unlike common flax they have an excellent branching habit and don't seem to mind rain. Flowers are not smothered even by heavy rain. These have already bore multiple heavy showers. Has earned a permanent place. Will also look for more cultivars.

Image
If i remember correctly you sent me 8 anemone bulbs, 5 sprouted, Three are Pink and one is turning out to be red. Waiting for last one.
Image

Lagnus Ovatus/Bunny Tail Grass. Its is amazingly soft both the flower and foliage. Easy to grow, would look better with a red companion plant. I was hoping the flower spike to be taller, but rains have dented their overall appearance as they get top heavy after rain and lean.
Image
Image

F-1 Poppies are on buds for which i have anxiously waiting for.
Image
double, its from saved seeds. It comes true from seed so members must try it from seed bank.
Image

Indian dahlias
Image
Image

Nicotania Tinker Bell....first bloom, should have been more reddish, but i guess its only a start.
Image

Ivy Geranium
Image

This blue colored small bird, (most probably its hummingbird due to its size and hovering habit), is a regular visitor, but i haven't been able to capture it well. Today, however it appeared more friendly and less afraid. I wish i had a better camera, was able to take far photos from mobile only. It is only attracted to hollies, canna and sweetpeas in my garden.
Image
Image

@Hamad UK. . Thankyou Hamad for your trailing petunia seeds, they seem to have reverted but still have a strong vining habit and aggressive growing nature.
Image

on the other hand, F-1 trailing petunia is also worth trying, only two colors were available in the nurseries this season. I Wish big time that our nurseries introduced calibroacha as well, however i haven't find its seeds anywhere on the internet. I guess they want to keep it exclusive for some time more to earn money as plants, in west.
Image

Freesias, few colors opening up. Tahir, bulbs you sent are all white as yet, but their flower size is reasonably larger
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image

Dutch Iris. Super easy, only requirement is free draining soil. I planted them on 15 December and they have bloomed all on 22 March. For me they are a new experience, but if they give only one flower? i will re-consider growing them again.
Image
Image

Faithful canna
Image

Ageratum/Floss flower
Image

Salvia lady in Red, as i have come to conclude Salvias do not perform better in colder climates such as Zone 9. Their prime growing season is too cold there for good growth.
Image

Lobelia...Smallish, but highly recommended, can withstand frost, easy to germinate
Image

Flower power of a single arctotis, highly recommended plant
Image

At this instance i can assure that Lupins can grow in zone 9. Blue bonnets. Many a times its our failure which we label on plants. I can seldom assure that plant failed because of its own self because they are so many factors that are grower dependent. Lupins must be kept on drier side(but keeping in view my rainfall average they can withstand heavy soil moisture) and if lower leaves show sign of browning, its more of a requirement of Nitrogen then the rust.
Image
Image

Neglected this year...but still blooming
Image

First of Hyacinths, Thankyou Tahir Bhai...
Image

On full bloom
Image

Cosmos
Image

Hyacinth larkspur/Seven Dwarf series. A very worthy plant, only drawback, it does not tolerate wet soil at all and even at fully grown stage will rot from base if exposed to wetter conditions.
Image

Cornflower
Image

Wild Nemesia
Image

Brachycome taking a start
