Very healthy shrub Umar....I just bought 4 plants yesterday... purple ones...

I love this shrub. In lahore it blooms in extreme summer heat. I love the white color very much. I wish there would be a fragrant species of this genus

I have acquired all the three available colors.. i.e. Purple, Pink and White.. any other colors available?? love this shrub/small tree..

I too love this shrub/small tree. One of the very few plants which bloom profusely and for a long time in the high heat of summer.

There is a red variety Dynamite... i dont know if it is available here..

By the same name i.e. lagerstroemia or song of india.. all the three colors are available at a nursery near Suleman plaza, if you are coming from Millenium mall and going towards NIPA roundabout, then it will be on your left side near the bridge..

Hm i really love this tree along Oliander & cassia.they really flower for months in hot summers.Lagerstroemia really add wealth of color to any garden these days.mine are full of blooms.Izhar in purple there are actually two varieties.one is lavender & other double purple.in pink there also two variations,light pink & rose pink.Dynamite is not available here
