Re: Amaryllis
Amaryllis are extremely hardy and easy to grow. I was unable to post the picture of Alfresco which i believe is the best double in white.
I forget to label the double white which is "White Nymph). Some of my favourites like Picotee (single), Chico and Rilona failed to bloom this year. Lemon Lime for some strange reason has a tendency to rot. Papillio flowers once and then fails to flower for 6-7 years and then starts giving bloom regularly.
Personally i prefer the singles which i believe are more striking. One can also cross easily with the single varieties.

Re: Amaryllis
Your Lima and La Paz are really pretty.
One of my friend gave me one bulb of Papillio last year that was very weak and he told me it happened every year after flowering and it never produced offsets. Bulb is in my garden in a pot, looking healthy but didnot bloomed this year.
Is there any special instructions for growing Papillio bulbs?
