2 things
Other than age, weather/temperature is the key trigger for blooms. Its not the peak time for MGs.
Then life of MG flower is less than a day, it is most possible that you are visiting them less often and blooms has already expired
Pest is also a possibility

Hi izhar,
The area gets generous sunlight but that's only after 12.
Hi Farhan,
I have kept a close eye on the vine and I don't think the flower falling off before I notice is a possibility
Plus what is the prime time of MG's?

Re: Morning glory not blooming
Morning glories thrive and bloom successfully if planted where the plants get afternoon sun rather morning sunshine..move if planted in containers to a spot which receives sun after 11:00 hrs or so. the morning sun kills the buds before they have a chance to open, my personal experience.
Re: Morning glory not blooming
So finally it blooms, not happy with the color plus the flower collapses by 9:30!!! Not growing next year. Tahir Sb, fortunately it only receives sunlight after midday
