Re: Italian palm
the name italian palm given by most nursery men is actually cycas thouarsii . you have asked about growth so three or four growth cycles can be expected a year under optimal conditions.

Re: Italian palm
I am trying to grow this palm from seed, last year the female plant matured, which as an offset I had taken 8 years ago and it produced 18 seeds none of the seeds germinated, i tried the Same method to germinate them as i do for the sago palms.
If anyone has any info as how to germinate seeds for this palm do let me know since the palm is producing more seeds now and I don't them to go to waste

Re: Italian palm
The first picture is a male palm, stood my gate keeper on the side for reference, the main shoot of this palm divided into 5 shoots about 6 years ago. The second picture is a female this was an offset taken from the male plant,it took many years to mature. The third picture shows the seeds that are developing takes upto 6-8 months for the seed to be ripe.
Re: Italian palm
MashAllah very nice. Do you sale any of the plants at a reasonable rate? If you have any of them in the pot.i
