If it is very strongly fragrant, then it could be a sort of Matthiola, see here :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthiola

Thanks......I am just a beginner, started gardening an year back, before that i all i knew about gardening was names of two plants Rose and Jasmine . Since than my journey is educational. Below is the rising action in last summer and i hope to achieve some sort of climax this spring.
