AOA,
Sunday morning I along with an old gardening friend of mine, Wahid Malik, visited Ahmad Irfans residence.
It was a pleasure to watch I can only say that those at Lahore must visit his meticulously kept Garden. I wish I could create something like his.

My Wisteria is ready to burst, another two days perhaps.

The Golden shower is in bloom.

And TBI is going strong.

Sometimes i wonder which is better lush greens of tropics or colder areas where some of the loveliest flowers grow. I fail to decide.....

Pyrostegia venusta is a very fine climber for most areas of Pakistan and I love it for its stunning bloom. Thanks for sharing Sir. :)

I would say we should grow plants as per the area where we are living and should strongly resist the temptation of growing plants for which we can't provide better environment. Good for both the plant and the grower :)

NO Sir. What I meant to say was that wherever we could be living, we should raise plants as per that climate. Those plants will always be more hardy, will bloom / flourish better and at the end, we will enjoy a better "companionship" with those plants. I always prefer to develop "companionship" with my plants instead of just using them for my "pleasure / amusement". Though not a very practical way but much more satisfying in the long run. :)

Iris are relatively new to me. My past experience with Duch Iris and another unknown was not good. I got some iris plants which flurished but never bloomed, out of hundreds only one has put up a spike this year, from the bloom I will get the identity and manage accordingly.
