Khan sb your D.D is so beautiful.it,s my pleasure to see so many rose admirers on the forum.it will increase my know about roses.Last year i planted two Hydrangeas at Mardan & one at Islamabad.one of the bush has showm some buds.Dr sb i,l start working on Hydrangea now.may be Allah give us a chance to enjoy it here in our hot climate.

Khan saheb thanks. Even with all these roses around me I think at least for now Double Delight is still my favorite rose. No two blooms are alike, perfume is hard to match, disease resistance is very good and it is neither too aggressive nor too weak.

If you have success in hydrangea please share pictures. They should work in Mardan but I doubt there will be any luck in Lahore or further south.

If Hydrangea is a success here it will do well Inshallah at Lahore.Khan sb now you are the master in roses.do not only see the rose like an ordinary person walking in the garden.but see its beauty,disease resistance,blooming power & fragrance.Double delight is my all time favorite.the blooms are also very large in size like Bejazo arn,t they.

True about DD Khan saheb. Large blooms and in addition almost a continuously blooming shrub. Even in heat of May it try's to put out flowers even if they are small.

Khan saheb Ebb Tide unfortunately is not a healthy shrub. I am constantly struggling with it and am considering taking it out. On the other hand I will say most purple roses are sensitive to spider mite. The only purple shrub doing great and looking healthy right now in my lawn is Heirloom which I bought own root.
