Getting seeds from Carnation
My carnations are in full bloom.How to get seeds from them?and what is the proper time to get them?may i wait or it is the right time to get them.If there are any similar threads kindly direct me to them.

similar to any other dainthus....they will make small bullet like seed pods filled with black seeds.....Seeds will take time to mature though.
However more importantly carnations are perennials. After flowering cut them back and protect them from scorching sun. They will bloom again in fall for you.
