Re: shimla problems
Why discard the plant. How many years do they live?Move the container away from direct sun, if the plant stresses out it may or may not produce flowers nor fruit... fertilize with 20:20:20 NPK fertilizer, plucking out shimla mirch will not do any benefit to the plant as the temp's are rising you will notice diminished fruit quality so i will advice to let the plant complete its life journey and pluck the fruits when they are of considerable size and discard the plant in June.

Re: shimla problems
Discard the plant because it is a short lived perennial it wont perform well the second year, and the plant if it is saved to give fruit for the second year will loose its vigor.Mustansir Billah wrote:Why discard the plant. Re: shimla problems
Regarding to uproot the plant. I will not uproot it because I can not go harsh on them and it is not of 1 year. It was planted in January.

Re: shimla problems
Dear, the heat is too much and the flowers need some humidity for pollination to occur and fruit to develop, if you take care of your plant.. give it some shade and regular watering in summer the fruiting will resume in August in the monsoon season.Mustansir Billah wrote:Every single bud on plant blooms normally and then turn yellow and then falling off.
