Farooq Sb here is the link to photobucket. You can also see my threads for nomenclature. Simply click on the image and click save image. Then you can use that image for entries. Or use IMG code from photo bucket.

Re: Plant Database Project
By looking that your pictures I realized my deepest level of ignorance about mausami flowers. I don't know the names of most of them despite the fact that flowers are extremely beautiful :-(. I was just a flowering trees and vine collector (as you can guess from my entries). I have picked couple of them which I could recognize or knew about. May be other more knowledgeable members can pick some specimens too from your link.Farhan Ahmed wrote:Farooq Sb here is the link to photobucket. You can also see my threads for nomenclature. Re: Plant Database Project
Can we do something related to sorting of all these entries. Or there should be an index page where name and links of all the plants are present in chronological order both latin name and common name.

Re: Plant Database Project
I dont think so presently. Sorting/grouping not possible in present scenario.khabbab wrote:Can we do something related to sorting of all these entries. Or there should be an index page where name and links of all the plants are present in chronological order both latin name and common name.
For this we need to add/develop some custom scripts in php.
Whats yours suggestions and recommendations
Thanks for looking into the matter timely.

Re: Plant Database Project
Certainly, I can chip in with some pictures. But it ll take some days, as to handle/upload pictures I use a helper, who is presently away.M Farooq wrote:Munir sahab or anyone else interested, you can do ONE favour if you wish to. Email us just the pictures at pakistan.flora@yahoo.com with name of your plant. Rest of the job is ours. I am running out of my own pictures (all of us are NOT lifting pictures from the internet) and I am thousands of miles away from my own gardenmunir wrote:All Greek to me & must be many more. Please keep cooking; we ll benefit/eat the broth when it is ready, as per practice. We can only buck(cheer) you up..
Suggestion. Please consider the possibility of having separate headings of:
... Gragrance. It is an important feature in which most gardeners are keenly interested; thus must be shown prominently.
... Maintenance,pruning etc.[r1][/r1]
