Same here. Vines, tropicals and fragrant plants... I don't know much about lilies, irises, or annuals. You would love to have screw pine (Pandanus), because one flower is enough to make its presence felt in a garden (no it is not at all like the pulao odor because that is a synthetic odour rather than floral aroma :--)... Hopefully, one day I will find it again.aykhan wrote:Champaca and Cananga easily available. I am actually a fragrant plant collector, my primary gardening hobby. I also love flowering trees and shrubs as well as exotics vines but it's the fragrance which is my focus.

That is good to know. May be I did not survey as much. Hope our nurseries modernize and make their catalogues online.aykhan wrote:Not sure about Karachi but I know all plants from Thailand come via Karachi so you should be able to find it in Karachi. I saw a Cananga odorata maybe 15 feet high at Changa nursery in Pattoki, I doubt that would be dwarf.

Great effort! We need more people like him. Anyway I was wondering do our nurseries ship their plants to other cities? I would like to have the yellow Michelia (NOT the white) and real Cananga odorata plant...one day :-).aykhan wrote:I totally agree. Also label plants and provide accurate names with guarantee. Not likely to happen anytime soon. However one of the top nurseries in Pattoki has a web page!
