i dont think they will die unless water stays in the bed for an hour or so and soil remains soggy, it needs just like the care of bulbs in the bed. But they will be effected by the harsh winter of Lahore, they are more suited to KARACHI weather.
The photo i posted is of a recreation beach camp i used to visit often, in winters there a lot of rains in this area but it never effected the Adenium as temp are never going below 10 C.

In Punjab and KPK, during winters, it can rain for days continuously with soggy conditions, hence soil remains wet & soggy even after the spell is over because of low temperatures. The phenomenon is known as western disturbance and is constant factor with not much variation each year.

It is always better to grow them in pot which gives you the flexibility to move the pot in case of excessive rain or when the temperature drops during December. In addition having them in pots gives us the flexibility to have a medium which can good drainage. I tend to use cut pieces of Coconut Chunks and mix them with old cow manure and the benefit is that water doesn't remain in the pot even in event of excessive rain. The key thing is water should not remain standing.

All of my adeniums were shifted to a shaded location after a few days of excessive rainfall but my adeniums growing from seed which have grown to 6 inch tall are still still lying in the open ground in small pots. Around 90% of them have survived.

Arif Sahib to be a safer side if your Adeniums are in the ground you can add a 1/2 a teaspoon of a fungicide known as "Ethyle Methyl" or Topsin to 1 litre of water. This can be given to the plant at the base and the benefit of this fungicide is that it can be absorbed by the plant from it's base. I have this fungicide and you can have it from me.

The media for Adenium needs to be revisited in lights of experiments done by Sarmad Sahib Additional IG of Punjab Police relating to sowing of Adenium seeds. Adeniums seeds started sprouting 3 days after sowing. The media consisted of 1/3rd Coarse Sand (Taxila Sand or Lawrencepur Sand) and 2/3 rd of Cocopeat or Coir. After the seeds had emerged a weak solution of all purpose fertliser was applied. The same media can also be used for germination for other seed cultivars. Picture attached is 1 month after sowing.

I would not advise sowing Adenium from seed as majority of them often turn out to be the common pink colour. Seeds are routinely formed in most of the adneniums. I shall try to collect some seeds when the pod develop which can be sent to those interested.
