Umar bhai, I would love to visit your wonderful garden at Mardan when I come back to Pakistan and I am sure it would be a treat to see. Thanks for contributing the pics. BTW, your comments about a particular rose have been shifted to the concerned post containing the data of that rose. IMV, if we have all pics and data / comments about a particular rose at one place with hyperlinks at different places, it will be easy in future to refer to a rose and know everything about it without going to different thread / posts. I hope that is ok with the members.

regards

Common Name: Tropicana
Other Names: Super Star, Tanor Star, TANorstar
Type: Hybrid Tea.
Bred by: Mathias Tantau, Jr. (1912 - 2006) (Germany, 1960).
Description:
Vermilion, salmon-pink undertones. Strong, fruity fragrance. 30 to 35 petals. Average diameter 5". Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Height of 42" to 6' (105 to 185 cm). Width of 3' (90 cm).
USDA zone 7b and warmer. Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .

The genealogy for Super Star that we're using is found in Jack Harkness's The Makers of Heavenly Roses, p. 119, which was provided by the breeder himself...
Steven emailed his comments about this rose: 'Super Star' has well-formed coral-orange blooms with a strong fruity scent. The bushes seem to be vigorous although plants currently on the market may have flowers whose colors have been 'muddied' due to over propagation although my bush has perfectly vibrant and clearly colored blooms and maybe more susceptible to blackspot, as my bush is. The foliage is semi-glossy and dark green. I don't see why people complain so much about this plant, it's gorgeous!

Ploidy counted by David Zlesak.

Lineage: Triploid
Seedling 5135 (Tantau) × Seedling (Pollen parent of 'Super Star')

That's a beautiful rose Rafique bhai. Are you sure about the name because with this name, we do have a couple of specie roses but no HT in HMF database. Are we talking about Rosa ‘Jacclam' here? But that is peach in colour, not orange!!

KBW Bhai this rose was tagged with Americal Bail and i did searched alot on net to sure the name. It has very similar charactristics of America climber.
I am bit confused only with the color, as mostly America Climber is documented with pinkish color? But if you search this plant in daves garden, then there are images very similar to it in color. Its color is not pure pink or orange i am un able yet to describe. Will show the next bloom to some one else for color confirmation:), as i have removed this after taking images. There is another bud which will bloom in a day or two.

Its color is entirely different from Rosa ‘Jacclam' . For color please check following link.
