This is perhaps because this plant likes humidity (or rather avoids dry spell).Munir wrote:If I remember correctly, this is a very common plant in Karachi (last visited over 10 years back),but hardly seen upcountry.Reasons?
I was a very frequent visitor to Karachi in the early 80s & mid/late 90s. Everytime I brought back 8-10 plants-the maximum I could manage in the hand carry, which at times included this plant also. I think it did survive with me, but Croton & Dieffenbachias never did in winters.M Farooq wrote:This is perhaps because this plant likes humidity (or rather avoids dry spell).Munir wrote:If I remember correctly, this is a very common plant in Karachi (last visited over 10 years back),but hardly seen upcountry.Reasons?
