Description:
Orange blend. Strong fragrance. 25 petals. Small, double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Height of 14" to 30" (35 to 75 cm). Width of 14" to 29" (35 to 75 cm).
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
The Peter Beales Collection of Classic Roses for 2000-2001 says this Floribunda has flowers that are deep golden orange in color...

KBW's Comments
Sweet Magic is a very fine miniature rose. As you can see in the pics above, the bright orangish yellow are the fresh flowers and after 4 days they turn into cream / salmon. HMF mentions it to be strongly fragrant but I found it to be just lightly fragrant, specially during hotter months. Sometimes, the fragrance is hardly noticeable. It forms a very nice little bush. Strongly recommended for small gardens, pots and for borders.

Description:
Red, yellow reverse, ages to lighter . None to mild, spice fragrance. Average diameter 3". Medium, double (17-25 petals), high-centered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Pointed buds.
Medium, bushy, compact, thornless (or almost), upright. Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.
Height of 2' to 3' (60 to 90 cm).
USDA zone 5b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden. Heat tolerant. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .

KBW's Comments
HMF classifies Jim Dandy as a miniature rose yet describes its height as 2-3 feet which is far bigger than the height of miniature roses. This is actually quite a small size rose. My bush is hardly 8" high and I do not expect it to go over 15 inch. The flowers are small and bright scarlet. It blooms continuously and there are always three or four flowers on the little bush. Doesn't grow very well in exposed locations but in sheltered locations, the growth is quite fast. It did not detect any fragrance at all.

Bred by: W. Kordes & Sons (Germany, 1989).
Description:
Amber - yellow. Strong, rose fragrance. up to 35 petals. Average diameter 4.75". Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Medium, bushy, upright. Large foliage.
Height of 28" to 39" (70 to 100 cm). Width of 26" to 4' (65 to 120 cm).
USDA zone 7b and warmer. Can be used for cut flower, garden or specimen. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) . Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection)..

Hybrid Tea Rose bred by Kordes. As documented good for hot climate and it is. Grown well throug out season. Blooms are very large with very sweet fragrance. Its is one of roses which maintain some good fragrance in hot weather.
Fragrance is sweetly strong for which 'Valencia' won the 'Henry Edland' Gold Medal for Fragrance.
Flower color is copper yellow/gold yellow. Its is one of recommended for good bloom color, fragrance,growth and resistance to diseases and hot climate.

Oh my God such a beautiful rose.Rafique can i get this variety in our own country.If its available then i would like to plant 10 plants of this variety this season.

Great input from the members. This data base is getting more comprehensive with every passing day. I would request members to also post the pics of bush as well as leaves. There are many roses which look alike and it is through the shape of the bush, size and type of leaves that helps in identification.
