Kitchen Gardening-Growing Veggies

Totally a newbie, need help
I am planning to shape up my house that i have just moved in. it has two large open spaces front and rear. soon i shall post detailed pictures so i can get some good suggestions
I want to fulfil following aims:
Grow some nice fresh vegies and salad stuff
for this as i have read i would need place with lots of sun, so i am planning to grow them in hanging containers with backside walls as they get plenty of sun. the options i have selected from internet and would give it t try

before I go on second aim, let me give u description of lawn and front area
The area of main lawn is about 75x25 feet, had lots of weeds mixed with dhakka grass and not watered except in patched due pipe leakage. trees around it are palm, cheeko, jaman, coconut

so far i have gotten rid of weeds and now watering it daily. have made two " KYARAIES" i.e beds on the border. one outer and the other inner. intentions are to plant some very chic (low maintenance) hedge on the outer side. in the inner column some seasonal flowers.
I have Urea and dap But have not applied that yet

On the left side in the attached pic there is a lony about 150 feet belt 4 3 feet wide running under the wall. this place stays under the shadow of wall and some mango and jaman trees and gets no direct sun light. However, towards the last end itwill get sun for any plany that goes above wall height
for this i am planing to put some nice banana trees in the start where there is not much light and in the later part some papayya trees and further towrads end some " Loki " and any other climber
any suggestions to improve it, i have urea and DAP but have not applied it yet
am not able to post pics please help in that regard as well
