Gaillardia goblin

Post by Mustansir Billah »

I have plants of Gaillardia Goblin but they are not flowering. They were grown by the seeds around 20th September but till now they are not flowering. Foliage looks fine and as well as the plant condition looks fine but not flowering.

It will not flower until late spring when grown from seed. First it will form a rosette and then near spring plant will start to grow tall with upward branches. It will be a perennial in Karachi and flower throughout after that.

My Malli loves it. Easy to grow, self seeding, flowers for a long time. I tolerate it but am not fond of it, looks ugly if not dead headed regularly.

Mustansir, it is perennial but a short lived one.... it will survive 3-4 years in good condition... deadheading is a MUST!
