Imran sb, your efforts are highly commendable. It is a tough task to write a book. Anyway, feel free to browse the forum's database of about 250 garden plants with pictures contributed by members. This list is growing slowly as members post or find new plants which are doing well in Pakistani gardens. Additionally you will find lots of grasses, weeds etc. We cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in plant names but most of it is pretty good. Could you share your (academic) background in plant sciences?
I would suggest that you add pictures to every plant you include because pictures are worth 1000 words.

Plants are arranged by scientific names and the details are almost identical as to what you have been writing in your book. So I guess you are at the right place.
Regards,
Farooq

That is a very valid point. Please give reference if you take pictures or information from here. Most importantly, as for writing anything, independently verify the facts presented in the database. Once the book is in print...there is no going back.khabbab wrote:We would appreciate that you put reference to our forum plant database if you use it as reference, it is effort of many gardeners with lot of time spent.
If you would share more details of your project, that would be great!
