Here is the method that I used for grafting tomato and potato plant:-
1. Firstly sowed potato and tomato seeds.
2. After the seedlings emerged waited for them to be at least 6" around.

3. Took a bowl shaped clay container of about 10" diameter and 8" height.
4. Filled it with, as far as I know, one part manure and 4 part bhallo soil.
5. Picked up the plants with maximum care and gently removed all soil from roots.

6. Made two holes side by side(approx. 0.75" apart) and placed both plant in it.

7. Watered well.
8. After placing them covered them with soil and made slight curve cut on both plants. One plant was cut slightly from beneath to upward diagonally and one plant was slightly cut from upward to downward diagonally.
9. After making cut from sharp knife overlapped both cut parts.
Actually there was a slight mistake when I drew it. The lower stem of tomato while upper stem of potato plant have to be cut.

10. Then I wrapped the cut with tissue tightly and then covered tissue with an electric tape.

11. After one day I cut the stem beneath grafting point of tomato plant and upper stem from grafting part of potato plant.

12. In between, I pruned all the lower leaves of this plant so the plant concentrate on providing upper leaves with water. After 9 days of grafting the leaves were straightening up. I changed the tissue as to avoid fungus.

13. 13 days after grafting(NOW). The new leaves are emerging and rest of the leaves are straightening.
