Strange problem with Motia

This motia is with me since three years and have been behaving as bush But suddenly this year one branch of it started behaving as climber and had climbed onto the rope. Is this normal pattern of motia or is it some strange thing? Why it is behaving like a climber?

In the image below it can be seen that whole plant has bushy habit except for one odd branch.

It means that your plant is healthy.. this is normal pattern of motia when planted in ground

There is no problem, an established Motia bush will occasionally throw a few long branches, these runners on touching ground at a distance sprout roots and another plant is formed and if they find a support they will climb up like a vine.
