Is the Gulab Jaman still alive?

Yup. Doing well in this weather. I get the feeling it will be a small tree unlike the local jaman. It's probably not even jaman.

this plant was sold to me as gulab jamun by changa nursery patoki.i searched google and find it is not jamun but another plant (Syzigium jambos)rose apple .also called white gulab jamun.

My plant however has variegated leaves and the shape of leaves is different. The suspense remains till it fruits I guess!

Dr. sb what is the progress, a nursery is selling these plants (5 feet tall) for about Rs.6000/-
