Gloriosa superba (Glory Lily).

Normally planted in April. Stems if its tubers are brittle and required staking which should be driven into the soil a foot away from the base of the stems, for if put nearer, there is fear of damaging the tubers. Preferably its tubers should be lifted around end of October at the onset of its dormancy period for storage in a dark room till middle of April.

An orange yellow variety grows naturally in areas close to Azad Kashmir.

Five tubers were purchased from Pride Seeds. Almost all have sprouted. Gloriosa lily requires superb drainage. My medium was bhall, fine sand and comost in equal proportions same as the one used for Adeniums.

Brig Sahib i bought 5 tubers and all have sprouted. My medium was same as the one i use for Adeniums and Bearded Irises which is 1/3 sand, 1/3 bhall and 1/3 compost (plant fert).

They bloomed but the data of images was lost. The blooms were similar to the ones posted above on July 2nd at the top of this page.

SO HE SOLD THE SAME THING AS A DIFFERENT VARIETY.
One of mine is three feet tall lets see if the blooms are any different.
