Hi all
I have a concern I planted my glads back in Sept about 20ofthem but only 6 flowered the rest are only growing leaves n drying up I don't know what to do with them as I feel that the flowering season is past n they don't seem to flower in near future . pfa the pic . please suggest . also let me know if I need to take any special care of my agapanthus

Keep agapanthus dry between two consecutive watering and avoid mid day direct sunlight.. No fertilizer is needed...
Keep the gladioli moist, they will be making their corms stronger for better blooming next year... sometimes weaker corms dont bloom and focus their energy on make bigger corms.. when they are about 60% yellow and dry.. stop watering till they are completely dry.. take them out and store in a cool dry place.. re-plant in mid November...

Thank u izhar. But we will be having hot humid summer for next 2 months followed by rainy season till sept end. Still I should keep agapanthus dry?

Yes you must keep it dry... otherwise grow it in a very fast draining mix like sand, pebbles, coconut chunks...
