Here's the close-up of the daylily Adnan. BTW should I be cutting off the stalks then? How much harm can occur if I let them bloom?

Bluegrass music was supposed to be much bluer.I m sure it'd display its true colors when it blooms in May for me.Donot cutt of the stalks now.Do it after it has finished blooming.Also google for PROLIFERATION.Daylily scapes sometimes bear plants on them.These are rebloomer daylilies and should re bloom in May or after monsoon.I have seen many single daylily fans with 2 or even 3 scapes at the same time.The healthier the plants , the better their flowering.

The daylilies are supposed to flower in May/June.The ones flowering now are because of their growing season where they came from.Once they have naturalized and start flowering according to the flowering season here, you'll see their true colors.
