yesterday my hibiscus flower bloomed but when i saw it today morning it started to wilt and now in the evening it has fallen off...does hibiscus flower has a life span of a day or is there another problem....

Its normal Hibiscus flower life is only for a day.but many bloom in quick succession.they are very ideal for Karachi,s climate.mealybug are serious threat to these beauties.

its normal for hibiscus.. for better blooming use DAP .. if in pot 12 granules per 12 inch pot every 15 days.. adjust according to pot size... in ground, handful per square meter every month...

Another MUST thing is to buy a general plant pesticide and spray your hibiscus every 15 days, whether you see bugs or not.. mealy bugs, scale insect and spider mites are serious threat for them..

Yes Izhar you are right Hibiscus like roses are heavy feeders.Izhar is very right.a good gardener keeps anti pest every time.i keep some pesticides & fungicides every time.because some time the attack is so rapid it dose not spares you to go & purchase pesticides from store.Hibiscus are true beauty even the common red.

does the weather of karachi suits hidden valley hibiscus ....i have read on the internet that 2-hrs of direct sunlight is enough for it..Is it TRUE?????

My guess is cutting and layring both should work for hibiscus. Preferably the humid months in August and September when the temps are also down.
