Thanks Hamamd and Izhar, i thought summer heat would kill them so i take them out of the soil, iam doing this for Glad, Iris, Lilliums,Freesias,Narcissus etc.

SO Izhar during dormacy period is watering required in the pots or not, will summer heat kill them in pots ?

No watering is required but a light spray each month will be beneficial, the protective cover on the bulbous plants save them even from fires, if they are beneath soil.. so heat is not an issue..

Dahlia Dwarf show started again ........ this time they are from seeds .....

I had discarded Dahlias but now I will try this variety come September.
